I didn’t start working on my CampNaNo project, Obscure Origin, until another nighttime writing livestream. Can you sense a theme here? It was again due to school work, but even more affected by my mental health taking a nosedive last night due to a very upsetting nightmare. And I spent most of April 3 just trying to make myself feel better (while not completely abandoning mandatory school and writing productivity—which would make me feel even worse).
I finally started writing my novel, so I’m keeping track of it both on the NaNo website and my site (down below). Unfortunately, the new NaNo site doesn’t allow for embedding my progress graph (that I can find), so if you’re truly curious, you have to click over to my NaNo project page.
The miraculous thing is that even with feeling very off today, I was still able to write another page of my 5-page essay (leaving me only 2 left to do), the whole first chapter of Obscure Origin, and the beginning of the second.
How has your mental health been recently? You don’t have to go into a lot of detail if you don’t want to. You can even comment a single emoji. I’m just curious, so consider indulging me.
