I did it! I really really did it! I finished my first draft of 7th Heaven, which I started back in mid-February (Feb 20), in a condensed time of about 1 and 1/2 months! Woo! I just set my mind to it and cranked out the draft. It’s still very rough and I am forever grateful for my wonderful Critique Partner SJ Bouquet for helping go through the story. I just sent off the draft to them and I’m sure they’ll tell me to add in lots of details (which is good, since it’ll get me to 50k pretty quickly–I’m 12,777 words short). But I’m still done with a first draft!
