In the past 2 weeks, I’ve experienced an unexpected (but much needed) spike in energy and efficiency. I can’t say for sure, but maybe it’s because I saw the cover for Unmoored (hint: it’s beautiful). It definitely helped kick me into gear, though. It reemphasized that I need to get it out there to share with the world.
I am now 90% done with the goal word count instead of languishing in the late 80’s as it had since before the Winter Holidays. In the past few days, however, I’ve expanded 2—almost 3—whole chapters. And while I still have a lot more to do, I feel more confident than I have in days that I’ll get it all done and make this story the best it can be.
