The wolf is the only hunter in these woods.

Ripped from her quiet life with her sick grandmother, Keira Edwards finds herself unprepared when someone close abducts her and brings her to a secluded cabin in the woods. But Keira is determined to escape and save her beloved relative before the bad wolf gets both of them.

Ravaged Red is a dark thriller that retells Charles Perrault's Le Petit Chaperon Rouge where the heroine saves herself and doesn't shy away from the real-life horrors of kidnapping and rape.

Ravaged Red is the standalone fifth book in the Fearful Fairytales series, a collection of contemporary fairytale retellings without magic.

About the Book

This story has given me many sleepless nights. Scenes came to me in dreams. Or should I nightmares? And they were terrifying enough that I knew I had to write it down.

But then I worried that this story would be too dark, even for this series which covers domestic abuse, drunk driving, attempted murder (that’s in 2), and drug addiction. But the story wouldn’t go away, and I figured I’d write it anyway, and see what people thought.
